About these games

Three short games with Bubb, Zizz, Hoom and Pip, made for children about 2 to 5 to play with a grown-up nearby.

Getting started

  • Turn the sound on. Each Snorp has its own sound, and Bubb (the orange one) talks the child through every game.
  • Everything works by tapping. Bedtime also lets them drag a Snorp to bed.
  • No reading is needed. Bubb's words also appear at the top for you.
  • There's no score and no way to lose. A wrong tap just gets a giggle.

Their sounds

  • Bubb (orange): a big wobbly burp. He's the only one who talks.
  • Zizz (green): a quick snort-giggle. Can't keep still.
  • Hoom (lavender): a long soft hum. Dreamy and slow.
  • Pip (teal, long neck): a tiny hiccup. Careful and shy.

For parents

No ads, no tracking, no cookies, no sign-up. A few rounds is plenty; the games end gently so it's easy to stop.

Hide and Seek

How to play

  • The Snorps run off and hide behind the bushes, the rock and the stump.
  • Every few seconds one of them makes their sound and peeks out a little.
  • Tap where you think they're hiding. Found ones jump out and join the line-up.
  • Find all four and they celebrate. Tap 🔁 to hide again.

What it helps with

Listening and matching a sound to a friend, and knowing something is still there when you can't see it.

Things to say together

  • "Who made that sound? Was it Pip's hiccup or Zizz's giggle?"
  • "I can see something poking up. Is that Zizz's stalks?"
  • "Can you make Hoom's hum?"

Bedtime

How to play

  • The Snorps are still playing, but it's nearly bedtime.
  • Tap a Snorp and they yawn and walk to bed, or drag them into a bed. Each bed is the same colour as its Snorp.
  • The sky gets darker with each one tucked in. Tap a sleeping Snorp and they'll stir, then settle again.
  • When all four are asleep there's a lullaby. Tap the ☀️ to wake them up.

What it helps with

A calm bedtime routine, matching colours, and being gentle. It's a nice one to play just before your own child's bedtime.

Things to say together

  • "Which bed is the orange one? Whose is it?"
  • "Zizz is still bouncing! Can you help him get sleepy?"
  • "Let's whisper: night night, Hoom."

Leaf Chase

How to play

  • Leaves fall from the trees. Tap a leaf and the nearest Snorp runs over and jumps to catch it.
  • Tap a tree to shake down more leaves. Sometimes the wind blows a big flurry.
  • Tap the grass and a Snorp runs there.
  • Every leaf goes on the pile in the middle. When it's big enough, everyone jumps in!

What it helps with

Cause and effect, timing a tap, colours and counting.

Things to say together

  • "What colour is that leaf? Can you catch the red one?"
  • "Let's shake the tree! How many fell down?"
  • "The pile's getting big. Who will jump in first?"
